Denton County Democratic Party chair since 2021, Delia has tenaciously focused on voter engagement.
Under Delia’s leadership our accomplishments have stacked up!

🗳️ Biggest county in Texas with a Democratic vote increase. Denton County stood out as the ONLY major county in Texas with a Democratic vote increase between 2018 and 2022 and they did it again in the 2024 election.

🤝Denton Dems nearly tripled voter contact since I was elected in 2021.

  • 2024 Presidential election voter contacts exceeding 130,000.

  • 2021-2022: 147,787 voter contacts‼️

  • 2019-2020: 52,919 voter contacts

🎯DCDP’s voter registration program reached 27,000 potential new Democratic voters in 2022.

More Triumphs:

  1. Delia ensured resources went to municipal races: Our Democrats conquered municipal and school board races in multiple cities and ISDs. 🏆

  2. Historic 2024 Lineup: Every state legislative race features a Dem candidate! 🎊 This is the first time in Denton County in many decades. We give voters choices and reasons to hit the polls.

Delia has served on community boards in leadership positions and is proud of the changes and policy directives that she brought through those positions. What she is most proud of is the time she has spent working with groups, individuals, and organizations impacting the lives of people directly… the lives of people in the Lewisville community.

“Being ‘of service’ means volunteering my leadership, developing training, and programs, and providing advocacy in support of others, especially the less-advantaged. I believe people simply need resources and opportunities that enable them to uplift themselves.”

Here is a small sample of the service Delia has done in the Lewisville Community.
