Delia Parker-Mims successfully led the Denton County Democratic Party with a vision to “Identify, Engage, and Excite” democrats to the polls, volunteer and donate since 2021. Now running for Texas Democratic Party Chair, she will deliver the same results for the state.

Her vision of “Texas - One Team” will bring passion and a demand for excellence that will inspire Texas Democrats to take action, vote, and drive progress.

Organizing the Party, energizing the community, building structure, and achieving results.

That’s what Delia will bring to Texas Democrats.

Through a targeted and aggressive voter registration campaign, the Denton County Democratic Party organized over 100 volunteers to knock on doors and work phone banks; tirelessly reaching out to over 27k new Democrats in the county. The volunteers’ dedication and commitment was inspired and driven by Delia’s intentional, unflappable, and consistent direction. Her tenacity to stay-the-course was a success in 2022 and Democrats in Denton County continued to make progress under Delia’s leadership in 2024.

Under Delia’s leadership, an incredible team of volunteers worked tirelessly, day and night, increasing Democratic voter turnout in Denton County. Hard work, passion, and commitment to progress are what set Denton County apart as true champions of democracy in Texas.

Led by Delia, the “Fight Back, Register 50” campaign increased registered Democratic voters in Denton County and made Denton County #1 for percentage increase of registered voters in the State of Texas.

Texas is my home and my heart; with energy, passion, and strategic leadership I will move the Texas Democratic Party forward together.
